Not that many years ago I was gifted a camera in the way "Im not using, would you like to try" sort of way. The camera (canon 40D), my first, happened to be kindly gifted to me at the time I started hiking and becoming reconnected with the outdoors. For the past few years I have spent a significant amount of my free time hiking, camping, backpacking, golfing, and shooting photography.
